How are the Sessions Played?
- Three teams per Session will have an opportunity to play two 20-minute games and one 20-minute practice.
- During a team's at-bat, each player will have a turn to hit.
- During an at-bat hitters will either attempt to hit off a tee or receive a pitch from a pitching machine or coach.
- The batter and base runners advance one base at a time.
- The other team is in the field playing defense. Fielders are encouraged to field, throw, and attempt to make a "baseball play" to their best of their abilities. Fielders will rotate positions every new batter.
- After everyone on the hitting team has had an at-bat, the hitting and fielding teams switch for the other team to have their at-bat.
Further details on the Rally Cap program can be found at Baseball Canada's website.
